“Beyond area relationships: Extinction and recolonization in molecular marine biogeography”

The next Philosophy of Biology reading group meeting will be Tuesday, February 24th at 7:30 in room 204 of the West Duke Building (down the hall from the philosophy lounge). Cliff Cunningham will be giving a talk entitled: “A macro-evolutionary interpretation of historical biogeography and population genetic data: population persistence trumps everything.” For optional background reading he has suggested “Beyond area relationships: Extinction and recolonization in molecular marine biogeography” that he wrote with Timothy M. Collins.
