The next Philosophy of Biology reading group meeting will be Tuesday, October 13th at 7:30 p.m. in the philosophy department lounge in the West Duke building. We will continue discussing Peter Godfrey-Smith’s new book, Darwinian Populations and Natural Selection. This week we will be reading chapter four and chapter five.
As further reading, we are making available the appendix to the Godfrey-Smith book as well as a short paper that describes the idea of ecological cohesion that we discussed last meeting (Thanks to Tyler Curtain for the latter).
