The next Philosophy of Biology reading group meeting will be Tuesday, March 17th at 7:30 in the philosophy department lounge in the West Duke building. We will be discussing probability theory and its relation to evolutionary theory with special guest Chris Haufe, who was our NSF postdoc two years ago. To start the discussion we will read a short piece written by Chris called “Necessary Chances.”
